A little history
Born in Whangarei, I've been in Auckland since 1999. I think I was five years old when I saw my first real DJ. He had a custom made system with turntables, and I remember asking him for a Michael Jackson song. He didn't play the song...
A few years later I watched a DJ perform at a sports event after party in a woolshed somewhere in the Waikato and decided that was something I wanted to do. I organised a "disco" at a hall close to my rural Northland school, and using a Rotel home stereo along with some tape decks, I did my first event. I was twelve, and the results were pretty average. But we all start somewhere!
Twenty something years later I've long since traded in the tapes and home stereo for digital technology and audio from Bose. I've entertained in bars, nightclubs, tourist spots, done school balls, parties for 5 year olds and 80th birthdays, on stage, on dirt, in barns, woolsheds, fashion shows and mixed club style productions for a nationwide radio show. I've also worked in radio either in a full time or part time capacity for over fifteen years.
This is not a hobby for me, and I'm extremely passionate about what I do. I take my role in this industry very seriously and will always go out of my way to exceed not only my client's expectations, but my own personal milestones.
I can't wait to hear about your event. Please get in touch anytime!

"Thank you for all your help and suggestions – you truly are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Weddings as we had no idea where to begin with all the planning of the reception and MC etc. All of your ideas really helped us.
Our first dance was so special and the atmosphere of the whole day was amazing. The dance floor was just amping; everyone was having a good old boogie! We literally had to be dragged of it at the end of the night; I just didn’t want it to end!"
"Thank you very much for all that you did, really awesome day and you helped make it fantastic. ...looked absolutely fantastic on the wedding hilights DVD and everyone enjoyed it."

How important is the MC?
It is your wedding MC that brings all of the parts of your wedding day timeline together. It is the MC your guests will look to to know what is happening next, where they should be, even how to react. The role of the MC is not to talk about the bride and groom, but introduce those who will.
Being a "great public speaker" is helpful, but usually there is much more to it than just speaking.
