A creative first dance

Jason and Lihsia spent hours practising this one.  Just over 2 minutes into their first song, a dance-off broke out.

Another crazy first dance routine

It’s a bride and groom’s first dance at their wedding with a “Evolution of Dance” twist. There’s plenty of these around but this guy is giving it his all.

I’ve yet to see a couple attempt it here in New Zealand. Fingers crossed!

The thing about your wedding is that it’s your wedding.  This means there is no right or wrong about any aspect - you can do things any way you like!  Isn’t that exciting?!??!

I’ve worked with couples who chose to drop the traditional first dance and replace it with something just as unique and romantic.  One couple considered the idea of not having a processional song at all (bride walking up the aisle at beginning of ceremony), instead arriving at the same time as the groom - but with a twist.  (more…)

Auckland Zoo offers a number of options for a very creative and unique wedding reception.   I’ve been involved with ceremonies at the band rotunda, which have usually been followed by a reception down the path at the Old Elephant House.

When planning a wedding, learn to expect the unexpected. So many things can change and usually you can plan around it, make alternative arrangements and so on. One key ingredient though is the venue. Chris and Jenny found out almost by accident that their intended venue in Titirangi was no longer operating as a wedding reception venue.
