I will not invite strangers to your event for a “demo”
When you hire me:
When people are looking to hire or choose a DJ, they often ask if they can come and see me at another event. Unless I’m working in a public place, there’s no way I would invite a stranger to another client function. Furthermore, every event I do is different, the music I play is different, the announcements I make are different. It would be difficult to judge me based on on appearance.
Alternative:
If a DJ was happy to invite you to someone else’s wedding or party for a demo, who will they invite to YOURS?
